YouTube is a video sharing site that is used widely by educators to share content and there are a wealth of resources that can be freely used for learning and teaching. Videos can also be embedded into Yorkshare module sites to accompany materials from lectures and seminars. Every member of the university has immediate access to a YouTube account as part of their university Google account, so staff and students can also create videos to be uploaded to YouTube without needing to sign up with their personal email addresses.
