Microsoft Office

The Microsoft Office suite is comprised of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, OneNote  and Outlook. Microsoft Office is available on all supported campus PCs and there are options for staff to purchase Office for home use at a discounted rate from the IT Services or use the university’s licence for Office 365, which is also available for students. PowerPoint can be used to create slideshows for lectures and presentations and tools such as Word and Publisher can be used to create documents that could be kept in Yorkshare to support face-to-face learning. If you are new to using Microsoft Office, IT Services can provide training on all of the Microsoft Office applications.
