Knowing what they know – using interactive tools to help students make connections.
This theme is all about formative activities that help both teacher and student to get a sense of what knowledge and other skills are developing in lectures and seminars to aid progression. These activities are also helpful to the teacher in evaluating the effectiveness of their learning designs. What connections are the learners making in their heads?
And what if they’re making the wrong connections? How can you get feedback so that you know how effectively they’ve understood what you’ve just taught them?
Come and learn from/interact with
• Sally Quinn, Psychology,
• Benjamin Poore, TFTV and
• David Anderson, IPC.
They will show how they interact with their students and provide you with the chance to experience these interactions for yourself.
🥙 Lunch is provided. Do sign up for the event.
