Thing 3: Post to your blog on the go – Five Things you can do with the VLE app

We’re up to Thing 3 already in our ‘Five Things you can do with the VLE app’ series. If you’re only just joining us, here’s some quick instructions on how to download the VLE app:

  1. Install “Blackboard Mobile Learn” from your iTunes or Google Play app stores.
  2. Open the app and search for University of York.
  3. Select University of York from the list that appears. Do not select York University (that’s in Canada).
  4. Log in using the username and password you normally use to access Yorkshare.

Thing 3: Post to your blog on the go

Many tutors use blogs for course activities and encourage students to post in them regularly to reflect on their learning throughout a module. With the Blackboard Mobile Learn app, you can post to your course blog from wherever you are. The same also applies to discussion boards and journals, if your tutor uses these for course activity.
