Personal Capture: New version available

Echo360 Personal Capture Main Interface Version 5.4

Personal Capture allows you to make recordings at your desk and then share them with students through the Yorkshare VLE or by email. You can use Personal Capture for narrated mini-lectures, covering complex ideas, introducing your module or going through worked examples.

If you are using Windows 7 or 8, a new version of Echo360 Personal Capture is available. Log in to the Echo System, go to the Downloads tab, then download and install the Personal Capture program for your computer. During the installation process you will need to choose the Personal Capture option. If you have recordings in the old version, upload these before installing the new version.

The interface has had an overhaul and is much slicker than before. As soon as you start the program, you are one click away from recording. All the key options are now available from the main screen too, including better control over quality.The overall process is the same as before: Record, Edit, Publish.
