Higher York E-Learning Network (HYELN) Conference 2014: Programme and last few places

Click for programmeAs the programme for the HYELN Conference is published there are still a few remaining free places left for last minute delegates. The conference is proving extremely popular once again if bookings are anything to go by, and the online booking system is now closed though last minute bookings can be made by e-mailing Arielle Redman directly on a.redman@yorksj.ac.uk.

This year’s theme is “Enhancing the student experience through flexible learning solutions” and the programme opens with a keynote from Professor Neil Morris, a National Teaching Fellow and Director of Digital Learning at the University of Leeds. Following this there will be 4 parallel sessions with 3 choices in each session covering issues such as technology and large groups, video feedback, blogging, accessibility, twitter, learning analytics and much more. In addition to this there will be a focussed session on progression and transition into Higher Education with a presentation from Manor School and their use of iPads in the classroom, plus a range of posters and the usual networking opportunities.
