The summer upgrade will see the introduction of a new survey tool into the VLE ‘Enterprise Surveys’. This survey tool allows you to conduct surveys outside of a module site and comes with a useful interface to distribute your survey based on module site enrolment, or department affiliation, or by uploading an list of email addresses.
Standard question types are supported (either/or, likert scale, matrix, multiple choice, open text) and you can also add visual elements, instructions, section break, page break, footer to your survey. The survey interface looks neat and scales well on a mobile device.
When you are ready to deploy your survey you can notify targeted users by email and the link will also appear in the new My Blackboard notifications window. Reminder emails asking those whose haven’t completed can be scheduled. Survey results can be analysed within the VLE or downloaded to Excel or csv.
