Demystifying the University of York – new video

Thanks very much to Tim Ngwena and the rest of the communications team who have been involved in the making of the “Unofficial official guide to the University of York” video which guides students through “The University, the way it works and where you fit into the whole picture”. The video does a great job of providing students with an easy, accessible and fun guide to some of the main structural features of the institution from what is a supervisor and the role of a Board of Studies to the role of the Registrar and Council.

The video can be embedded into departmental Preparing to study sites and will hopefully help to demystify some of the differences between school and Higher Education.

If you want to know more about how this great video was put together then Tim has blogged about the process; http://timngwena.com/the-making-of-speed-drawing-animation-university-of-york/
